Terms of Service

Last updated: June 25, 2026

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Iris Assistant, Inc. (“Meet Iris”, “Iris”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Iris application and services (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.

3. The Service

Iris is an AI personal assistant that, at your direction, helps you manage tasks such as email, calendar, messages, contacts, files, and — where enabled — voice calls. To do this, Iris connects to accounts and services you authorize and uses third-party AI models to interpret your requests and generate responses and actions. Iris is offered as an early-access product under active development; features may change and availability is not guaranteed.

4. Your account

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your credentials secure and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current.

5. Your content

As between you and us, you own the content you provide or connect (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including sending relevant content to AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy). You represent that you have the rights necessary to provide Your Content and to authorize Iris to access the accounts and data you connect.

6. AI outputs and automated actions — please read

  • Outputs may be wrong. Iris uses AI models that can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected results. Outputs are not professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise). You are responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before relying on them.
  • Iris can act on your behalf. When you instruct Iris, it may take real actions — such as sending emails or messages, making calls, scheduling events, or modifying data in connected accounts. You authorize these actions and are responsible for reviewing and confirming them. AI may misinterpret instructions; use the available review and confirmation steps for consequential actions.
  • We are not liable for actions taken at your direction or for your reliance on AI outputs, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • violate any law or facilitate illegal activity, or infringe others’ intellectual-property or privacy rights;
  • generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, harassing, or fraudulent content, or spam;
  • send communications or access accounts you are not authorized to use;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, circumvent usage limits or security controls, or disrupt the Service;
  • use the Service or its outputs to build or train a competing AI model or service; or
  • misuse the Service in any way that could harm Iris, other users, or third parties.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

8. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party services you choose to connect (e.g. email, calendar, AI providers). Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services and do not control them.

9. Fees and subscriptions

Iris is currently offered free of charge during early access. We may introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future; if we do, we will describe the pricing, billing, renewal, and cancellation terms before you are charged. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are also subject to those stores’ terms.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including the app, software, and Iris brand, is owned by Iris Assistant, Inc. and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service per these Terms. Except for Your Content, no rights are granted to you. To the extent permitted by law and applicable third-party terms, outputs Iris generates for you in response to your requests are yours to use.

11. Feedback

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IRIS AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Iris harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. 5, 10, 12–14, 16) will survive.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction — except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
